Civil Plant Operator and Landscape Gardener Horticulture

New opportunities have just opened up with one of our clients in a rapidly expanding team, where your work might even be featured on the news. The role is within the maintenance and regeneration crew for Landscape Gardening team where you will assist in performing Hydroseeding, hands on labouring, weeding, planting and lawn care.

As a valued member of the team, you'll be involved in a range of landscaping and revegetation projects, including a new major work where you can really make your mark. This role offers full-time hours, a temp-to-perm opportunity and immediate start.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use of powered gardening tools; Mowers, whipper snippers, hedgers etc
• Softscapes of new areas: Weeding, digging, planting
• Pruning and hand seeding/hydroseeding
• Killing weeds using back pack sprayer
• Engaging in various manual labor tasks
• Maintenance of yard and stock areas
• Hardscapes, building retaining walls and refinishing
• Logging progress of work, administration and record-keeping duties
• Plant operators will require minimum 6months pervious experience

What's on Offer:

• Full-time ongoing work: 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with ample overtime opportunities
• Daily travel allowance
• Overtime paid at penalty rates
• Temp-to-perm opportunity for candidates with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Competitive pay rates ranging from $35.59 to $39.46, based on experience

What We're Looking For Labourers:

• Previous experience in horticulture, gardening, landscaping or labouring
• Valid Driver's License is essential to get to site
• White Card
• Full working rights
• Certificate III in Horticulture (ideal)

• Water cart operators
• Excavator operators
• Ability to complete prestart checks
• White card
• Drivers license and a car to get to site
